Solution Application Specialist

Overview:

Simparel offers next generation ERP solutions to companies to manage their global operations. Simparel is unique with respect to the technology platform that runs the software. System dictionaries, as opposed to program code, are used to define and manage the entire solution. To best represent Simparel capabilities to its target customers, the company is searching for an ERP industry specialist with relevant business knowledge and outstanding presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Functionality support during sales cycle
• Functional content of RFI (request for information) and RFP (Request for Proposal) documents
• Solution configuration for sales presentations based on prospect needs
• In person and/or web based system solution presentations
• Interaction with Simparel services teams to transfer knowledge gained in sales cycles
• Interaction with Simparel engineering to provide direction for future development
• Participation in selected trade shows and industry events to represent our solution

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Good knowledge of supply chain management and ERP business processes
• Practical experience with fashion related wholesale and/or retail businesses
• In depth understanding of needs of apparel, footwear, accessory, home fashion businesses

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, or higher
• Prior ERP solution sales support experience
• Prior experience with software development organizations
• Prior experience with wholesale and/or retail ERP projects
