We were looking for a solution that would offer us the ability to participate in the development, and grow with it as well. Simparel was the only solution capable of delivering an unqualified, carte blanche replication of all of our existing ERP functionality. The way in which we do supply and demand balancing is not necessarily replicated in other systems, and it was important for us to retain the same sort of approach going forward as we had with the existing software.
Whenever you are able to accelerate something as time-consuming as system development from conception to delivery, it gives you a huge competitive advantage. We implemented over a weekend and we have never looked back. This system will allow us to do so much more; we have a sound, advanced technological base from which to grow over the next decade and more.
There are not many modern solutions on the market; most having been developed over 20 years ago with significant limitations. When we recently surveyed the market for solutions that fit into a small to mid-sized apparel company, we found that Simparel quickly rose to the top of the list as it relates to value (i.e., functionality and cost). I found that Simparel really does have a unique software solution that can be tailored easily and rapidly. Simparel was able to deliver what they promised on time, which I have to say is highly unusual in the apparel software marketplace.
We chose Simparel because as a small start up company in an aggressive growth mode we wanted a system that would last forever because we wouldn't outgrow it, as well as a system that was easy for users. The potential of what we can do with Simparel is tremendous, but we can use it now for our needs up front. Our current solution didn't handle multi-warehousing which we needed immediately; we hit our target dates of go live and went live very quickly.
The time and energy I would have spent to configure our current system would have been wasted, because I knew I would outgrow it. I like the flexibility, user interface and functionality of Simparel. I don't feel that I'll outgrow anything with Simparel and see potential for even greater efficiencies.

The Simparel team is excellent to work with. They are very good, very accommodating, and get the job done. A change or correction is either completed on the spot or by the next meeting. The software is very intuitive, fast, and relatively easy.
