Ballin is the leading manufacturer and marketer of men's better dress slacks in North America. Ballin distributes its products across North America and to Europe and Japan with rapid turn-around times.
Ballin had spent over a million dollars in the recent decade developing its custom software system. When the vendor stopped supporting Ballin's system, and traditional ERP solutions fell short of Ballin's software requirements, the company turned to Simparel to duplicate its legacy software.
Simparel developed a complete replication of Ballin's existing ERP functionality, including:
- Master production scheduling
- Cut planning
- Multi-level automated supply chain allocation based on user-controlled rules

In addition, the system roll-out incorporated some of Ballin's planned improvements and new processes. Simparel also has trained Ballin developers to use the Simparel configuration and development tools to ensure Ballin's future self-sufficiency.
